Marketing Communications Manager
We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to join
our busy, hardworking team of marketing consultants and project
managers.
A largely client-facing role managing suppliers and resources,
the Marketing Communications Manager must principally ensure
delivery of high quality marketing and creative services to
ResourceiT clients to an agreed time and budget.
You will work closely with ResourceiT colleagues (Head of
Marketing strategy, Webmaster, Account Director, Creative/design
team and consultants), taking responsibility for the design
and delivery of customer marketing strategies and services
alongside the Account/Project Manager.
The Marketing Communications Manager is a partly-chargeable role
which means that you will deliver services to ResourceiT customers
where applicable and brief, guide and manage creative consultants
to fulfil campaign and service delivery requirements.
In addition to client facing responsibilities, the Marketing
Manager is a member of the ResourceiT Strategy team. You will help
to devise and define ResourceiT services, marketing strategy and
tactics. Working with other members of the Strategy Team, you will
help to build, support and drive the ResourceiT brand and messaging
to assist the business with achieving its revenue objectives.
Client-Facing Responsibilities
- Work with Head of Strategy on specific Microsoft marketing
campaigns and initiatives as required
- Work with Account Directors and Project Managers to
specify and deliver client marketing services and campaigns
- Manage the delivery of marketing and creative services:
- Build customer marketing strategies
- Build campaign plans
- Assign tactical activities
- Attend/run various customer workshops
- Manage suppliers and relevant resources
- Ensure quality of marketing and creative service delivery:
- Ensure consistency and quality of content
- Ensure services are delivered to time and budget
- Provide marketing and copywriting services (billable) as
appropriate
- Support Account Director and Project Managers in pre-sales and
sales cycle
- Working with the Project Manager, manage service and campaign
delivery and reporting through marketing platform/CRM/intranet -
updating client records and knowledge base as required
- Measure and track client campaign results and success
- Attend regular account planning and reporting meetings
- Research customer perception surveys, competitive analysis
Internal Responsibilities
- Work as part of Strategy Team to develop service and creative
strategies, aligned to maximising results from allocated marketing
budget
- Work as part of Strategy Team to design and define service
offerings
- Provide copy/creative services to support ResourceiT marketing
and promotional activities
- Working with colleagues, create descriptions for client
products and services, in line with ResourceiT brand
- Support ResourceiT brand development and promotion
Essential
- You will be a marketing communications expert with an interest
in digital marketing. Experience of online communications using
social media platforms will stand you in good stead
- You will have excellent copy writing and proofing skills and an
eye for detail
- You will be able to write a clear brief that gets the best
results from our creative teams
- You will be a natural communicator who is professional and
personable and can communicate ideas clearly and appropriately at
all levels
- You will work well on your own initiative within a supportive
team and you will be creative and innovative, driven to deliver
successful, integrated campaigns for our clients
Desirable
- ResourceiT works solely with clients in the technology sector.
Experience in this sector, particularly the Microsoft channel,
would be advantageous
- Understand Microsoft technology products and solutions
- Has worked within the Microsoft partner channel (either at
Microsoft or at a partner) or major technology vendor
- Highly active, driven and ambitious
- 100% committed to delivering value and results to clients
- Based in the Thames Valley
